Meet the Founders Behind Beyond The Bean
Beyond The Bean was founded by Andrea and Saulo with a shared passion for Ecuadorian coffee and a mission to connect the hardworking farmers of Ecuador with our community in Pearland, Texas. We believe every bean tells a story of dedication, tradition, and family. By working closely with growers and roasting locally, we bring you exceptional coffee while honoring the people and communities behind every cup.
Saulo – Founder & Chief Coffee Officer
Saulo was born and raised in Houston, Texas, Saulo carries strong family roots from Delicias, Chihuahua, where his parents were born. From an early age, he developed a passion for working with his hands and understanding how things work.

Andrea – Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Andrea was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador, Andrea grew up in a country unlike any other. Ecuador offers four incredible regions, the Coast, Andes Mountains, Amazon Jungle, and Galápagos Islands, all within just a few hours of each other. From mountains and rivers to beaches and jungle, Ecuador’s beauty is truly mesmerizing.

Our Farms
Café GranFe is a family-owned coffee venture born in 2020 in Ciano, Puyango, Loja, Ecuador. The Granda family has deep roots in coffee farming, carrying forward generations of knowledge, dedication, and love for the land.
From their own coffee farm in the mountains of Loja, the family carefully cultivates and harvests their coffee cherry by cherry, with a commitment to quality and responsible farming practices. Their goal is simple: to create exceptional coffee while building a better future for their families and community.
Their 100% Arabica coffee grows at high elevations in the Loja region, where the mountain climate, rich soils, and slow maturation help develop its distinctive aroma and flavor.
Behind every bean is a family, a farm, and a story and Café GranFe is proud to share that story with the world.
